Long-term Recruitment of Young Editorial Board Members of JPA

As of the end of 2023, the second term of the Young Editorial Board of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis (JPA) has expired. In recent years, the Young Editorial Board has played a crucial role in ensuring the academic quality of the journal, enhancing its international impact, and improving service levels. This has contributed significantly to the substantial development of the journal. To attract more outstanding talents, provide a better academic exchange platform for young scholars both domestically and internationally, cultivate reserve talents for the Editorial Board, and enhance the quality and impact of the journal, and, the Editorial Board has decided to officially launch the third term of the Young Editorial Board for JPA and sincerely invites enthusiastic and dedicated young scholars to join.

Self-recommendation or recommendations are welcome!

Application Requirements:

1. Demonstrated academic integrity, strong sense of responsibility, enthusiasm for journal work, and willingness to undertake tasks such as manuscript submission, review coordination, and journal promotion.

2. Age below 45, holding a Ph.D. degree or an associate professorship or higher.

3. Within the last 5 years, published 8 or more SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author in authoritative academic journals domestically or internationally; priority given to those who have led national-level projects or received national or provincial-level awards.

Benefits of Young Editorial Board Members:

1. Issuance of a certificate of appointment as a Young Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis for a term of 2 years.

2. Priority for publication of the Young Editorial Board Member's own articles or recommended articles after peer review.

3. Priority promotion of the research achievements of the Young Editorial Board Member on official platforms such as the journal’s WeChat public account, Twitter, etc., to enhance personal academic influence.

4. Regular selection of outstanding Young Editorial Board Members and issuance of certificates; those who have made outstanding contributions may be reappointed for the next term or become committee members of the editorial board.

Responsibilities of Young Editorial Board Members:

1. Actively participate in manuscript submission, and organization and planning of special issues/topics.

2. Actively participate in the journal’s peer review process.

3. Actively promote and endorse the journal, and actively participating in domestic and international academic events to discover and recommend outstanding authors.

4. Actively disseminate the academic content of the journal.

5. Actively participate in meetings of the Young Editorial Board and relevant academic activities organized or co-organized by the journal.

6. Actively contribute ideas and suggestions for the development of the journal.

Term and Management:

The term of the Young Editorial Board is 2 years, managed through a dynamic mechanism by the Editorial Board and Editorial Office, with annual assessment.
